Overview

We are looking for an active, self-motivated, team-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. A Hydrostatic Tester is responsible for the daily hydrostatic pressure testing of hose assemblies as per the customer/regulatory specified requirements.

Responsibilities

· Properly maintains company supplied P.P.E. and Equipment.

· Ensures work assignments are carried out to the highest quality level.

· Completes daily assigned tasks by immediate supervisor with little to no supervision.

· Uses hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.

· Conducts hydrostatic pressure tests to ensure integrity of hose assemblies.

· Prepares pressure testing assemblies within test pit as determined by supervisor/lead.

· Performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities, to include but not limited to the hydrostatic pressure testing department interior and exterior areas, pit, etc.

· Promotes positive forward thinking amongst his/her peers within the company.

· Ensures work assignments are carried out to the highest quality level.

· Performs his/her job duties with little to no supervision.

· Performs other duties and activities as assigned by management within the physical constraints of the job.

· Understands and complies with H.O.S.T. safety rules and company policies.

· Knows and understands the H.O.S.T. Employee Handbook and complies with its requirements, operating/technical procedures, and relevant standard operating procedures.

· Ability to effectively work well with employees and supervisors.

· Ability to understand and follow verbal and written correspondence and work instructions.

· Ability to read and write in English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Mechanically inclined preferred.

· Good verbal communication skills.

· Basic computer skills.

· Ability to read a measuring tape and use an O.D. tape, caliper, pliers, hose cutter.
