Responsibilities
- Lay-out and fit-up, perform acetylene cutting, burn, gouge, plasma-arc and weld as necessary to form components to specified dimensions.
- Apply knowledge of welding techniques such as Stick, Mig, Flux-Core and TIG.
- Grind welded materials as required, as well as grinding inside shells or tubes as needed.
- Must be able to safely operate power tools when authorized in accordance with company rules and policies.
- Perform internal quality check using appropriate measuring gauges.
- Cleanup work area and equipment after work is completed.
- Willingness to perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner, avoiding all unsafe practices.
- Must be able to work schedule shift plus overtime, when necessary, day or night and/or weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- RESUME REQUIRED
- Must be able to accurately read measure tape, cut baffles using proper equipment. Must know how to use basic tools. Will be assembling bundles and heat exchangers.
- Must pass background No Aggravated Crimes/Hair Follicle and UA
- Must have one to two years welding experience, with knowledge of grinding practices.
- Must pass a weld test.
- Plus, if you have sub arch experience.
